Like a whole great big bar – those extra sized ones of Cadburys, or Galaxy, or a massive frickig box of Thorntons!!! I am so fricking close to breaking into the cooking chocolate stash!

What I did in March……he he

March 2022 – when else….LOL

  • 01.03.22 – It rained.  I went for a run!  
  • 02.03.22 – set myself a March challenge – seeing as I failed in the November one.  The challenge is to complete one of the following each day: either 10k steps, or a HIIT session, or a jog-a-walk-a-run.

03.03.22 – giving up sugar is so difficult.  I mean there is definitely a lot less sugar and sweet stuff in the house now, than there was before, but really struggling to remove it completely!! And I was doing so well for few days, not buying any chocolates. 

04.03.22 – March challenge failed, already!!! FFS why is it so difficult to do a little bit of exercise!  Why is there always an excuse. No, no, no.  Let me correct that – why do I always find an excuse. 

  • 05.03.22 – no comment (just a half a packet of seaweed covered peanuts!) I give up
  • 06.03.22 – had visitors.  I’m counting the mental stress of dealing with visitors as exercise
  • 07.03.22 – it almost didn’t happen.  But it did – a Mini HIIT session.  Wow
  • 08.03.22 – what was today’s excuse?  Can’t remember
  • 09.03.22 – 10k steps and a walk!  I’m counting this as 2 exercise BITs completed in 1 day.   Knackered.  Work was busy too.

10.03.22 – Almost didn’t happen – but I did drag myself out for a walk eventually.  Motivation hard to come by

11.03.22 – 17k steps. Lots of walking today – but also really, really big lunch – unnecessarily so

12.03.22 – Lots of pottering around today.  Walkies completed. 10k steps completed.  Tomorrow HIIT, yes? LOL

  • 13.03.22 – being lazy……………..there’s a surprise……….
  • 14.03.22 – it’s official, when I get up in the morning, if I’m not working from office – I HAVE TO PUT ON MY SPORTS GEAR, it’s the one thing that motivates me the most.  I WENT FOR A RUN TODAY!
  • 15.03.22 – 10k steps completed
  • 16.03.22 – not so much today! But I had life things to deal with, no time for exercise
  • 17.03.22 – another flipping injury! I did something during warm-up, whatever it was, I’m not sure, but really hurt my hip joints.  Walking is really painful, and limping like crazy. BUT still went for a run!! Stupid I know. But the running didn’t hurt so much, actually it didn’t hurt at all.  It’s the walking that kills. What did I do?  After run – 3 songs worth of strength exercises to tone those other muscles.  Now….. Now (19:59) I’m flipping shattered, and my hips absolutely fecking kill!  I’m gonna regret my decision tomorrow, I’m sure of it.

18.03.22 – Surprisingly – legses fine this morning!  So…….13k steps! A run!!! (two days in a row), a walk, some strength training, and chicken breast for dinner.  Still struggling to give up sugar though.  Real battle that one. 

  • 19.03.22 – nice long walk today, 12k steps
  • 20.03.22 – loads of food today is what happened.  My weight is a bit up – but I’m wondering with all the recent exercise it might be muscle build.  I have to keep up the exercise. 
  • 21.03.22 – 4k run, 29 minute HIIT session, 10 minute skipping rope session. !!!
  • 22.03.22 – HIIT session
  • 23.03.22 – 4k run
  • 24.03.22 – HIIT session
  • 25.03.22 – attending a family Wedding  LOL
  • 26.03.22 – post wedding chaos, more cake, not enough steps, more alcohol
  • 27.03.22 – still post wedding chaos and busy, still at the hotel, still eating everything! Massive cheese sarnie on way back

28.03.22 – Scales WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hoping it’s just the booze blip!!!!!!! Strict food discipline today!!  HIIT session & walk done

  • 29.03.22 – Scales – slight improvement. HIIT session done!
  • 30.03.22 – 17k steps traipsing around the office all day
  • 31.03.22 – semi-good with food, too lazy to exercise (it’s to frecking cold!!!!!)

So I kept a record for a month! Did it make a difference. Did it f…… oh, my mouth is so potty recently. Need to curb that in. Oops.
