It’s been a tough week

It’s been a tough week at work, busy and stressful. I’ve had little time to cook properly and even less time to think what I was doing with my food. Still finishing off a massive cake I made few days earlier. Net result has been, some very unhappy scales.

I need to sort myself out. Now that I got my cooking mojo back, I need to think through my meals again, and get back to exercise once again. If only to get back to my recent weight goal. I know it’s doable and shouldn’t require too much work – nevertheless work is required. Most of it is just about putting some thought into what I was eating and when.

There has definitely been a lot of cake and a lot of bread in the eating this week, and we all know that for me bread is just a big no-no; well not in the quantities I’ve been eating it over the last week. And the fudge. And the ice-cream. And the cherry liquor. And I’ve discovered how to make focaccia the other day – which naturally I consumed almost in entirety within 24 hours. So, yeah, scales are not happy, but for a change they have reason not to be happy.

The scales hate me

Nope, let me rephrase that – I hate the scales.

I don’t get a chance to weigh myself daily anymore – to busy with puppy – but that’s probably not a bad thing.

The bad thing is that I’ve rediscovered my cooking mojo the other week, and that means there’s just shed loads of food at home.

It’s definitely walking tonight for me. Need some kind of exercise.
