Turns out, if you forget to buy crisps for a few days, run out of biscuits and also forget to put them on your next shopping list, and swap chocolate for peaches and cream – well you’ve given up more sugar than you thought and your body is going to adapt, quickly. By that I mean, the cravings for something sweet won’t be so bad, and the weight – yes it is going to start dropping. More drastically than you realised, no matter what age you are as it turns out.
